The school's literary society is an essential platform for the upswing youth. It is a great opportunity for children to acquire 'Knowledge of Life' in addition to their subject streams. The first Literary Society meeting of Matara Janadipathi Vidyalaya which held in 1995, was the oldest forum among other school’s societies.
