Kavindi Kokila & Sachini Wasana, students of Matara Janadipathi Vidyalaya has won the two silver medals at all island taekwondo championship 2018. Kavindi Kokila played under (57-62 kg) age 17-20 category and Sachini Wasana played under (52-55 kg) age 15-17 category. Mr. Dilan Sayakkara who was an old student of our school, is the Taekwondo coach of school and also, he is the Matara district coach.
