Kavindi Kokila & Sachini Wasana, students of Matara Janadipathi Vidyalaya has won the two silver medals at the all island taekwondo championship 2018. Kavindi Kokila played under 57-62 kg category of age 17-20 category and Sachini Wasana played under 52-55 kg category of age 15-17 category.
Mr. Dilan Sayakkara who was an old student of our school, the taekwondo coach of school since 2014 and also he is the Matara district TKD coacher. Specially, he had represented the National team since year 2004 and won the National championship in 9 years continuosly.
